COVID-19 Travel Updates
2020 Trip Cancellations
In accordance with travel restrictions imposed by government advisories worldwide, The Girls Trip has temporarily suspended all trips across the globe for all 2020 trips.
2021 Flexible Cancellation Policy
For all bookings, we’re reducing the number of days’ notice we ask for before your departure for you to make changes, down from 90 days to 45 days. This means you can change your trip, due to COVID-19 or feel uncomfortable travelling up to 45 days before your scheduled departure date. No hassle, no questions asked, and no charge. If you choose to amend your booking, you can select any new destination or departure date for a future trip. Please keep in mind there are NO REFUNDS on any deposits or payments made.
If your trip is postponed, due to COVID-19 you will still get the adventure you paid for, for a future date and this will remain 100% financially protected. Once you’re ready and/or the COVID-19 pandemic allows for more clarity, you’ll have complete flexibility over how you transfer your booking – the freedom to move your balance to any on any future travel date. Please keep in mind there will be NO REFUNDS allocated for any changes and cancellations.
What are my options if my trip has been cancelled or postponed?
You will have a travel credit automatically available to you for the full value of the land portion of your trip, to use for any trip in the future with NO EXPIRY.

Rebook now and change your travel dates or destination to any tri that is currently active on our website, without penalty. Any discounts that had been applied to your original booking will be transferred and applied to your new booking.
Elect to hold a Future Travel Credit of the full amount paid for a future trip with NO EXPIRY.

If you haven’t paid yet for your tour in full, but have made a deposit:
You can simply transfer your deposit to ANY future trip with us without any admin fees or cancellation fees.
If you’re eager to travel in the future but aren’t quite sure about timing, we’ll automatically apply the full amount of your Deposit to your TGT account so it’s ready to go when you are — and don’t worry, it will never expire.
To maintain the safety of our travellers we are committed to travel in smaller group sizes to ensure your social distancing practices and protocols. Our group sizes will vary between 10 -16 guests per trip. We will continue to foster connections with newly created measures to keep you and everyone you meet safely.
COVID-19 Safety Measures
- Our team and Trip Managers will be taking extra precautions and abide by safety standard according to each destination
- Each guest will be responsible for filling out a COVID-19 form prior to each trip
- Daily temperature checks will be mandatory during the trip
- Mandatory mask requirement where applicable
- Increased sanitization during the trip
- Wipes, sanitizers and masks will be provided during the trip
